...just as they do the National G.O.P.  We conservatives have been asleep at the switch for way to long, and thus we have allowed the fascists in conservative clothing like Frau Snowe and Fraulein Collins to take over our party.  They are, of course, in turn managed by Trilateral Commission Rockefeller henchman, Bill Cohen.

Charlie Webster is carrying water for Olympia as the chair of the G.O.P., and that's why none of the Aroostook County Republican Committee resolutions condemning Olympia and Susan for their socialist/fascist votes are being allowed to be aired on the floor of the Maine State Republican Committee.

Such a sad state of affairs, but at least they are on notice that we KNOW WHO THEY REALLY ARE AND WHAT THEIR AGENDA IS.  Some day, if more real Republicans wake up, we may get our party back!

Steve, I heard something about your area up there not having someone to run for a House seat?

That there is some rep that's been there since the 102nd legislature??? Before term limits? He bounced around from the house to the senate and back or something??

His name is John Martin? http://maine.gov/legis/house/hsebios/martjl.htm

His area: Allagash, Ashland, Eagle Lake, Fort Kent, St. Francis, Wallagrass and Plantations of Garfield, Nashville, St. John and Winterville, plus the unorganized territory of Northwest Aroostook

His Committees:  Appropriations and Financial Affairs; Natural Resources; Joint Select Committee on Joint Rules (Chair); Joint Select Committee on Maine's Energy Future (Chair)

It just seems to me that each part of the solution depends upon the people. Period.

How's his voting record?

GET A PATRIOT TO RUN AGAINST THIS MAN!

Every opportunity we have to strengthen the State to stand upon principles we MUST take!

Elevating people who want our Constitutional Republic back in every part of the system will be what changes things.

YES! GET SNOWE OUT OF HERE!!

But he so called leaders are not listening.

We MUST start using other tactics. We MUST!

I am not saying not to continue doing what you folks are doing. And duplicating that effort has seemed futile no matter how many more conservative voices show up at our meetings, the Chair is still the Chair. And the moderates have been coming out to the meetings more, which is interesting. The 8 of us that show up every single meeting were joined by many more for  awhile and then they seemed to peeter out...don't know why. Because they have less endurance than the enemy???!!!! Is THIS the case??? Or maybe it is because the Chair has shut down the conversation and debate repeatedly. A separate meeting is being formed to deal with the "issues" because they don't want to take the time time at the meetings themselves. Discussion and debate about our leaders has been squashed. So maybe that's how come the conservative voice has been quieter.

Pissin' me off, it is.

Short attention spans? I don't know what it is. What I do know is that we MUST engage in varied tactics and one of them has GOT to be the actual people we put into office.

With the networks enlarging across the state you'd think we'd find some Patriots willing to run hard for office.

John Martin, the Queer, has an AWFUL voting record, but he's from a district that is 2.5 hours by road from where I am in Southern Aroostook.  My radio show won't even reach his side of the county, and I don't know many people up there.

I agree we must find more patriots willing to run, but the problem is that when they do they get ZERO support from the Maine GOP and the GOP insiders will actually work against a true conservative to help elect the Democrat.  It happened to me when I ran in 2000.  Pretty discouraging....

We must EDUCATE the masses of people who are beginning to sense that something is really wrong and try to get them to join with us in overthrowing the GOP county by county.  That's where it HAS to begin.

Do we know anyone up there at all? Anyone who'd be willing to put up posters with John's face and different things he's voted for that are WRONG? I meant it when I said we need to do everything. Anything. All.

Although I agree with Steve that we need to take our party back, the approach needs to be respectful. And the approach of name calling and being disrespectful is not it. Let them do that Steve because all that approach does is make people who do it look like disrespectful people and these types of people will never get elected. You fight with respect for others oppinion and proof of fact or public oppinion my friend, not war of words of profanity and acusations. John Martin does need to go but we need to have the power of the veto because so much socialist legislation is being pushed. We are trying to take our party back and I hope folks join us. I think it would be almost impossible to win on a third party ticket but I would rather lose with my principles in tact than win with a weak kneed moderate. We need to elect a conservative, we need to elect Paul LePage, and we can if we stay united and look out for people trying to split us, wolves in sheep's clothing are among us my friend, look out.
