At the end of November I re-connected with a very good friend from High School.
We had attended High School together while both of our parents were diplomats in South America in the early 70s; his father was the consul for Brazil while mine was working for the Inter-American Development Bank which is part of Organization of American States (O.A.S.)
My friend pursued a career as a diplomat; I decided to have a life instead.

My friend Toni is currently working at the United Nations in Geneva Switzerland. He is the alternate representative for Brazil at the Conference for Disarmament.
I asked my friend if he could do me the favour of telling me who the representatives were for the United States, which he did.

Gary Larson and Alan Carlson, both GS officers at the U. S. State Department.

While we are fighting to keep our 2nd amendment rights, the State Department is working hard at trying to disarm us!

The Conference for Disarmament is no doubt a pre-courser for The U.N.'s Agenda 21. They cannot accomplish taking away our private property as long as we are armed.

I believe that Hillary recently gave a thumbs up for disarmament.

Not that I trust mainstream sources like Reuters to EVER tell the whole truth, but what else do we have besides this:

....to indicate this isn't JUST about large international arms shipments to "rogue" elements (admittedly like the Rockefeller-succumbed U.S. military) and that it is as much about an internationalist assault on the individual gun rights of every day Americans?

Nothing?  Because if that is the case, this is a non-story as far as I am concerned.

I am OPPOSED to immoral supplying of large caches of arms to dangerous dictatorships and petty tyrants.  THE USA SHOULD HAVE OUR OWN DOMESTIC LAWS against such shipments WITHOUT the need for "international law" to intervene.

If we were a moral and Constitutional society we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

But, for patriots to run with stuff like this, claiming this is an attempt to disarm individual Americans is BOGUS, PANIC MODE nonsense. (That is not addressed at you, Jose, but to the original purveyor of this who claimed it would "start a Civil War."

I am trying to get specifics as to what is being discussed in the conference from my source at the United Nations.
At this point I don't know if he will even respond, but if and when he does I will post the information that should clarify what
is going on and if there is need for concern.
I realise that I jumped the gun on this and I apologise.  I had done a search on both U.S. represenatives and came up empty handed.

Wasn't it on the news recently (not msm) that Obama was preparing for a civil war? Or did I dream it or nightmare it?
